Prices for more than 4 hours per week are available.
Prices include one class cancellation per year due to
inclement weather. Snow days beyond the one day cancellation will be made up.
There will be a $25.00 registration fee per family, which
you can save if you register by August 1st. All tuition is automatically due
and payable the first lesson day of each month. If the tuition is not paid the first lesson of the month there will be a $15.00 late fee charge. If you prefer to pay by the semester, we offer a 5% discount for families taking less than 3 hours per week and an 8% discount for 3 or more hours per week.
This semester payment must be paid in full by September 15th with no refunds. There will be a $35.00 charge for any returned checks. We are sorry, but there will be no refunds except in the case of serious illness. If a student misses a class, it is up to the student to make up the
class or attend a similar class. If this is not possible, a family member is welcome to take a class in exchange for the student´s missed class. All students are placed in classes according to the director´s/instructor´s discretion. Class placement is based on age, prior training and level of muscle coordination.
The Eleanor Pernia Studio of Dance, established in 1962, has provided the greater Beltsville area with excellent dance training since 1967. Located 0.7 miles north of Ikea, near the Department of Agriculture on the west side of Route 1 (Baltimore Boulevard), the studio is directly behind the BP Gas Station, next to Jerry´s Sub Shop.
Classes are offered in tap, ballet, jazz, hip hop, ballroom, and belly dance. A classical ballet program is available. The one-hour children´s combination class consists of tap, ballet, and tumbling. The tot program is a playful introduction to dance for children ages three and four. Students are placed according to age.
